Submission Guidelines
All submissions should be made through the journal website. The manuscript document should be in Microsoft word (.docx) format.
All manuscripts must be accompanied with :
- A covering letter indicating the name of the author(s), respective designation and e-mail id.
- A Declaration certifying that the manuscript submitted is a piece of original and bonafide research work and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. (Declaration template)
The Cover letter, Declaration and Manuscript should be in separate files. Please do not mention any personal identifications in the manuscript file in order to maintain anonymity in blind-review process.
Submissions should be made through the journal website only (Please check the Manuscript Submission tab) and no personal submission will be accepted.
After submission through the journal website, the details of submission such as, date of manuscript submission, name of the author(s), designation, e-mail id, contact number and the title of the paper should be send to the email id; submissions.ijlp@gmail.com.
Instructions for Authors
- An article should not have more than two authors.
- Text and citation style should strictly conform to the rules of the Bluebook – 20th edition. This mode of citation must be strictly followed otherwise the paper shall not be considered for publication.
- The word limit for Articles/Research Papers is between 4000 to 6000 words (including footnotes) and must be strictly adhered to.
- The layout must be as follows:
- Margin: Left- 1.5; Right- 1; Top- 1; Bottom- 1
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: Headings -14; Body-12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Sub headings: Times New Roman; Font size- 12; Left Aligned
- Footnote: Times New Roman; Font size- 10
- All authors are to certify that the paper submitted is a piece of original and bonafide research work and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. In compliance with UGC guidelines, plagiarism/ similarity of the manuscript must not exceed 10%.
- Authors who have sent/ will send the manuscript to publication in another journal, are required to inform the International Journal of Legal Policy’s Editorial Board during the review/publication process, if they receive acceptance/ an offer of publication from the other journal.
- Authors are required to obtain written permission for the use of any copyrighted material in the manuscript and must communicate the same to the Journal Editorial Board. Such material may include tables, charts, graphs etc.
